Chaplaincy

Chaplaincy at St Joseph’s

Children are selected by staff in Key Stage 2 to join the Chaplaincy team if they show passion and confidence in relation to organising and leading liturgical prayer.  They support their peers in class to organise and lead worship and then they support the Senior Leaders to organise and lead whole school liturgical prayer and Mass.

De La Salle Chaplaincy Day

We hosted the Chaplaincy teams from St Philip’s Neri, St Joseph’s Shirebrook and St Patrick’s.  The children worked alongside Marsha and Luke from our Trust to strengthen their understanding of Chaplaincy and provide inspiration.
