Good Morning Year 6,

The end of another week and this would have marked the end of SATs week! It has been great to see all of the excellent home learning going on and I have enjoyed seeing all of the other wonderful things you have been getting up to whilst we have been away from school too.

Today's home learning timetable is: Liturgy, Maths, English, Topic and the final Silly SATs paper. Please read today's instructions for the online links for the Liturgy and Topic work.

Take care,

Good Morning Year 6,

Nearly at the end of another week! i hope you have managed to do some lovely things this week! Don't forget to keep me updated with those things as well as your home learning. Also remember to try and log onto Youtube to listen to the audio book, 'Holes', ready to support your writing next week. You don't have to listen to it all by then, it is a good story and you will find it useful.

Remember to access the daily video via the White Rose website as linked in the daily instructions. Today's home learning timetable is: Maths, English, RE, ICT and there is another Silly SATS paper for you to have a go at. Today you get to mark my paper and see if I have made any errors! smiley

Take care and I look forward to seeing your work.

Good Morning Year 6,

As we are focusing on the book 'Holes' by Louis Sacher and we would usually read this in class, I thought it would be good for you to be able to at least hear the book. Follow this link:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRMhlXrIlwi5mXDW0LQQfgtwV5d8nJSaR

It will take you to an audio reading of the entire book, split into chapters. It is a good story and would really help you with your writing.

A reminder to all that all Maths work comes with a supporting video online. Each day there is a small 5 minute video to watch on the White Rose website which will teach you the mathematical element you need to know. The link for this is in today's instruction document that is titled with today's date.

Today's home learning timetable is: PE, Maths, English, German and Topic. Instructions can be found in today's daily document.

Enjoy your day and stay safe,

Mrs Waring

It is fantastic to see your home learning, I really do miss seeing all your amazing work in school, it really is not the same teaching though a laptop!

Today's home learning timetable is: Handwriting, Maths, English and Science. All the documents you will need for today's learning are attached as are answers for yesterdays Maths work. The Maths work will be accessed via White Rose home learning and you will need Week 2 lessons now.

I have also included a 'Silly SATs' Reading paper for you to have a go at. Remember this is only for fun and how we really see SATs. Let's see how many answers you get right!

Good Morning Year 6,

It's SATs Week this week, well it should have been! However since times are quite different, we will not be taking SATs exams this year. I couldn't let this week pass by without acknowledging what would have been an important week so I have included some 'Silly SATs' for you to have a go at! I will include them throughout the week so you to try.

Today's home learning timetable is: PE, Maths, English and RE. Use the documents attached for the instructions and worksheets. The Maths work is accompanied by a video on the White Rose home learning website too.

I am looking forward to seeing your work!
