Class teachers The teachers at St. Joseph's encourage parents to visit them to ask question's about their child's learning. However, we ask that parents avoid discussions with teaching staff during the school day. The school's Reception has a display of teaching staff if you need to put a name to a face.
Governors The Governing
body are responsible for monitoring the strategic direction of the school. The
Finance and General purposes committee (FGP) concentrate on the school budget,
staffing and health and safety issues. The Strategic Development Committee
(SDC) concentrate on pupil attainment and achievement, curriculum development
and assessment.
The Governing body is made up of Parents, Staff, Foundation Governors (selected by the church) and a Local Authority representative. If you have a question, comment or wish to bring an issue to the attention of the Governors then please do so via the school office. Governors are often on the school site so please feel free to discuss anything face to face. The current Governors are:
