The school keeps a news feed to keep the school community up to date.  It is particularly useful as a memory jogger for planned events, or for those occasions when we need to circulate information urgently, for instance due to extreme weather conditions. The news feed can always be viewed on the home page of this web site, however it is also available on mobile phones.

Receive the news feed to your mobile phone

If you have an internet enabled mobile phone you can receive the news feed in a number of ways:

If you have a web browser on your phone you can add the following web address for our mobile friendly website to your favourites or bookmarks.  This is a simplified version of our home page and always includes an up to date list of news items.  The address is https://sites.google.com/site/mobilestjosephsschoolweb/

Most modern phones have a social networking feature that will allow you to follow a Twitter feed, so that the phone will alert you immediately should a "tweet" be sent by staff.  If you have such a feature, point it at the username stjosephnotts.  The latest items of news will then be viewable.

On older phones you may need to add a free piece of software to follow our news feed.  If this is the case, follow this link, and choose the relevant software depending on your mobile device.  When requested add the username stjosephnotts.  The phone should then alert you to the latest news items.
